Angel:
怎么称呼你？
zěn me chēng hū nǐ？
How should I address you?
Li Ting:
你好！我叫李婷。
nǐ hǎo！ wǒ jiào lǐ tíng.
Hi! My name is Li Ting.
Angel:
你好！
nǐ hǎo！
Hello!
你做这个发型做了多久？
nǐ zuò zhè gè fǎ xíng zuò le duō jiǔ？
How long have you been "doing"/working on this hairstyle?
Li Ting:
刚做一会儿。
gāng zuò yī huì er.
We've been working on it for a while.
Angel:
那现在女生喜欢剪什么样的发型？
nà xiàn zài nǚ shēng xǐ huān jiǎn shén me yàng de fǎ xíng？
What kind of hairstyles do women like nowadays?
Li Ting:
各有所爱吧！
gè yǒu suǒ ài ba！
Everyone has their own personal one (i.e. hairstyle) that they love.
Angel:
对！
duì!
Right!
现在男生喜欢什么样的发型？
xiàn zài nán shēng xǐ huān shén me yàng de fǎ xíng？
What kind of hairstyles do guys like nowadays?
Li Ting:
男生... 清爽。
nán shēng... qīng shuǎng.
Guys... "Fesh and cool" hairstyles.
Angel:
那如果就是...你在剪头发的时候，
nà rú guǒ jiù shì... nǐ zài jiǎn tóu fa de shí hò...
Well... While you are having your hair cut...
你会问发型师哪些问题？
nǐ huì wèn fǎ xíng shī nǎ xiē wèn tí？

How do you communicate with him?
Li Ting:
我会说..帮我设计一个比较称我脸型的发型。
wǒ huì shuō.. bāng wǒ shè jì yī gè bǐ jiào chēng wǒ liǎn xíng de fǎ xíng.
I'll say... help me get a hairstyle that suits the shape of my face.
比较好看一点的，适合我的。
bǐ jiào hǎo kàn yī diǎn de, shì hé wǒ de.
A good looking one that suits me.
Angel:
如果正在学习汉语的人要过来剪头发，你觉得他们应该知道哪些关键的词语呢？
rú guǒ zhèng zài xué xí hàn yǔ de rén yào guò lái jiǎn tóu fa，nǐ jué de tā men yīng gāi zhī dào nǎ xiē guān jiàn de cí yǔ ne？
If someone who is learning Chinese comes here for a haircut, What key words do you think they should know?
Li Ting:
剪短，修剪，剪薄。
jiǎn duǎn, xiū jiǎn, jiǎn báo.
Cut it short. Trim it. Thin it/cut it thinner.
Angel:
