This is part 1 of a series in which you'll learn a total of 100 common Chinese Characters!
I recently shared my shortlist of apps for learning to read and write Chinese.
After that, some of you requested that I post more "character-focused content" on the blog from time to time
So... in today’s video, we’re going to take a look at some of the most commonly used Chinese characters.
You’ll learn the core meaning of each character and see how it’s written. You’ll also see how it combines with other common characters to form words and sentences.
(Note: If you want to dig deeper into "how Chinese characters work", my friends over at writtenchinese.com have a detailed beginners’ guide)
